I was downtown at lunchtime today and witnessed workmen lowering signage at Seattle’s Paramount. I was alarmed.
Upon consulting Uncle Google, it turns out they’re trading the old sign with a more energy-efficient model.

I’m not sure what I think about this. I do think people should conserve energy, but this is a piece of history!
Yes I was torn too. I think ultimately, I’m on the side of the greening, but yeah. I wonder what they’ll do with the old one?
