Rachel: Photo Diary
When we put in the garden a couple of weeks ago, I bought some starter basil to supplement the basil I was growing from seed. Looks like the cold Spring might have done in the poor plants. It’s been in the 40s and 50s all week. I might start all over on some of the plants. I hope it’s not too late.

I bought a 1g pot of basil at Trader Joes. It looked good when I bought it, but is struggling now. I may have to buy a second. I have grown a bunch from seed and the batch outdoors is about a 1/2″ and the indoor batch planted a week laters isn’t too far behind. TJs is the bargain option if they still have the plants in stock.
